Hi, I’m Gareth—a product designer based in New York City with over 10 years of design experience, including the last 3 focused exclusively on UX and UI. I’ve designed native mobile and responsive web apps across industries like travel, healthcare, education, finance, non-profits, social media, and e-commerce.

Currently, I’m the lead product designer at BLADE, where I work on travel and healthcare logistics products. I also collaborate regularly with Brick Factory, a design agency in Washington, DC. Recent projects include education and networking platforms for National University, and donation campaign sites for African Parks.

My path into UX began with a love of puzzles and problem-solving, and a background in theatrical sound and video design. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for storytelling, pacing, and visual rhythm—qualities I now bring into every product I design.

I gravitate toward projects where I can help shape something from the ground up—where design is strategic, not just surface-level. I’m excited by the opportunity to build products that are thoughtful, intuitive, and make everyday life a little better for their users.

Outside of work, I love traveling with my wife Nicole, playing music, and knocking out another backpacking trip from the list.
